 Extermination of a bee colony is one way to go, but finding an exterminator willing to exterminate honeybees is difficult to do.  Plus, when the colony is exterminated, the comb and honey is left behind.  This can lead to other pests like wax moths, small hive beetles, and ants.  In addition, the remaining comb is basically a move in ready home for a bee swarm looking for a new residence.  It's like providing a fully furnished home with a fully stock pantry to a family looking for a home. Delta Bee Farm is committed to providing the highest quality bee removal services around.  Once the bees, comb and honey are removed, we apply a masking agent to cover the scent of the hive and hive pheromones to help discourage rebuilding and discourage another colony from moving in.  

We service the central Mississippi Delta area within a 60-mile radius of Indianola, Mississippi. This includes the cities of Greenville, Greenwood, Cleveland, Clarksdale, and Belzoni.

First, don't bother them. When a bee colony is in swarm mode, they are usually very docile unless provoked. What has happened is the colony out grew their old home and the queen left with a large population of bees to start a new colony. They will land in a tree, on a fence, on a car or just about anything else while scout bees find a new home. When a new home is located, everyone will leave and move into the new home. This process usually takes a day or two. So just leave them alone and they will move on in a couple of days. 

Yes, Delta Bee Farm sells delicious, locally sourced honey.  Our honey is harvested from our own beehives and from some bee removals that we perform.  We do not blend our honey, so the flavor is unique to the location of harvest and time of year that the honey was produced.  We only sell wildflower honey but do offer comb honey or chunk honey in limited quantities.
